Dr. Stout has over 30 years of experience as an emergency physician. He has also been involved in out-of-hospital care for the past 15 years. He has served as the medical director for several EMS agencies, including volunteer, career, fire-based, private and helicopter (air-medical) services. He continues to be active in the field as the medical director of a busy community hospital emergency department, two volunteer EMS agencies, a paid fire-based first responder agency and a private (commercial) ambulance service.

Mrs. Stout is a nurse/paramedic with over 18 years of experience in critical care and emergency medicine, both in the hospital and in the field. Mrs. Stout has worked as a flight nurse for an EMS helicopter program as well as a paramedic for local EMS services. She continues to be active in EMS not only through her leadership in EmCert.com but also as a regional coordinator and instructor for Basic Trauma Life Support.

Ms. Baker brings both extensive EMS experience and information technology expertise to the EmCert team. Ms. Baker has been an EMT for 15 years, working with both ground and air-medical programs as a communications specialist and field provider. Ms. Baker also volunteers as an EMT for her home service. She holds a degree in Computer Information Systems, specializing in Microsoft Technologies, which allows her to bring her EMS experience to life via the Internet.

Mrs. Kryer has 15 years experience in the hospital/private practice sector as medical transcriptionist, administrative assistant and office manager. She has been with EmCert.com since its beginning and is responsible for the direction and coordination of business office operations. She handles a wide variety of functions in and outside the office and works closely with the marketing/sales staff to provide support to our customers.

Mrs. Rodgers serves on our staff as an editor and as the primary exam coordinator. Mrs. Rodgers has worked as a flight nurse for an EMS helicopter program and is currently the trauma services coordinator and manager of the EMS helicopter program for a large urban trauma center. With her extensive experience in emergency and critical care, both in and out of the hospital, combined with her training and experience as an educator, Mrs. Rodgers is uniquely qualified to help us ensure the educational quality of our courses. Mrs. Rodgers develops most of our test questions as well as reviewing articles for medical and educational validity.

Mr. Tallent brings to the EmCert.com team over ten years of experience in web application development, and has an extensive background in database design, file structures, networking, multimedia, algorithms, and statistics. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences. Mr. Tallent is an experienced software architect as well as an accomplished programmer in many languages, and serves on occassion as an adjunct instructor at a local technical college. He has worked with over one hundred companies in developing traditional client/server and web applications, and specializes in intranet applications for petrochemical, legal, medical, and educational facilities.
